This Big Band adaptation of Tranquil Storm features Flugelhorn and Trombone and contains a free-jazz big band section that's both listenable and addictive-the horns lay down a groove so the soloists and rhythm section can have some fun.

Have you ever been in Florida where the sun is shining, maybe it's a mild day and you see a cloud...a few grey clouds and think, "It's gonna rain later." Those clouds roll in eventually and you're suddenly engulfed in a typhoon! Then 7 minutes later it's sunshine and rainbows...you think, "it was just one of those...tranquil storms."
